The software allows you to print the names of multiple sponsors on the dedication page. However, some dealers add a custom insert page as a sponsor page and divide up different sized ads and allow businesses to sponsor based on ad sizes, including option for whole page. This can make the sales process easier by giving sponsors options with a tangible end result.
Say you are charging $12.00 each for the books, you could divide the page into 12 boxes and charge $1.00 per box (x number of students). If the school has 500 students, it makes it much more affordable for a small business to get involved for only 1 section or $500. On the other hand, a large car dealership may want half the page for $3,000. If you have your local news covering the event, they get tv advertising as well as the ongoing advertising of the book itself! Well worth the $3,000... not to mention the community support for kids and reading. Just
Dividing the ads into equal sizes is what most dealers do, dividing the cost up equally between sponsors. You'll probably start with a class or a grade and work your way up to the whole school, then schools. You could even look at getting different sponsors for different school districts.
