Description: This retirement book is a humorous gift for a new retiree, poking fun at his/her "achievements" throughout his/her career. A key feature of this book is that the illustrated pages include the text with the person's name.
Parts required to make the book:
- One (1) book cover (the brown cover showing a lounge chair & table)
- Two (2) sticky pages
- Two (2) sheets of onion skin
- Five (5) long preprinted "book" sheets
- Two (2) "see-through" sheets so the retiree can insert his/her own photographs/mementos/etc. related to his/her retirement
- Two (2) "list" pages suitable for signatures from friends who attend a retirement party. They are also suitable for listing gifts received.
To assemble the book:
- Insert the 5 preprinted sheets in the proper direction for your printer.
- One (1) book cover (the brown cover showing a lounge chair & table)
- After printing, cut these pages in half. This is the only book that has not been produced with micro-perforated pages. The text pages are printed on the left, and the illustrations are on the right. Page numbers appear in the margins as a guide. After the binding is completed, these numbers do not show.
- Insert one see-through sheet between the title page and the introduction page. The side of the see-through page that opens should be facing in for binding purposes.
- Insert the other see-through sheet near the end of the book.
- Following the second see-through sheet, insert the 2 "list" pages.
- Add the onion skin to the front and back.
- Assemble the book in the usual way by adding the sticky pages to the front and back, and adhering both to the cover.
- Bind with Safety binder
